Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law (LMU Law) announces the appointments of Dr. Stephen Adkins as Director of Admissions and Paige Dzindolet as Staff Assistant. Both Dr. Adkins and Ms. Dzindolet join LMU Law after serving other programs at LMU for a number of years.
“Both Stephen and Paige are tremendous additions to our LMU Law community,” said Vice President and Dean Matt Lyon. “With the growth of LMU Law in recent years, we have even greater need for talented and experienced staff members to help support our current and prospective students. Their experience in higher education as part of our larger University community will serve them well in these new roles.”
Adkins joined Lincoln Memorial University as a faculty member in 2016 and most recently served as the graduate program director for the Master of Public Administration program. He holds a Ph.D. in political science and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, and a J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Adkins’ background in strategic planning and collaboration with key stakeholders will be invaluable as he works to align recruitment plans with the overall mission and objectives of LMU Law.
“It has been an honor to serve as the MPA program director at LMU for the past eight years, and I’m excited to bring some of the lessons that I’ve learned in program marketing and admissions to the law school,” said Adkins.
Dzindolet previously worked as a graduate administrative assistant for LMU’s Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences in Harrogate, aiding in the application process, student registration, and students’ applications for graduation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in biology from Roanoke College. Dzindolet will support administrative functions for LMU Law in Knoxville, particularly with the law school’s offices of career services, student services, and admissions, and with LMU Law’s innovative Part-time/Hybrid J.D. Program, which is enrolling its second class of students in Fall 2024.
“I am excited to continue working at LMU in this new capacity. The law school community has been very welcoming, and I look forward to the upcoming academic year,” said Dzindolet.
